2024 Impact Report
Message from the Executive Director
From all of us at Domus, thank you, donors, partners, friends, and neighbors for your invaluable support in another transformational year for our youth and their families. As we strive to grow our impact, we look forward to raising more awareness, building new partnerships, and securing more critical funding. It’s up to us to continue delivering for the folks in our shared communities who need our support now more than ever.
Please take a moment to review our 2024 Impact Report. Together, we can help create a brighter future for all of us in Stamford and beyond.
Peace,
Mike Duggan

What our participants are saying
“They helped me to open my eyes and know that there are so many other things out there in the world than just wanting to hang out on the street.”
“Domus has been a huge help to my son. His Family Advocate pushes him to get good grades. I’m glad he has a male figure in his life.”
“Not having much support in this country, Domus has been like a family, not only for my daughter but also for me.”
“Domus helps their students stay on track with schoolwork and grades, even when you’re having a bad day.”

Domus Builds Productive Relationships
Just like with our participants and families, we are constantly cultivating relationships with program partners and community leaders. Here are some highlights from 2023-24:
- DomusWorks renewed and expanded contracts with the City of Stamford, Western Connecticut State University and University of Connecticut (Stamford)
- Stamford Public Schools (continues to support our School Engagement and Middle School programs)
- Domus works closely with the Stamford Youth Mental Health Alliance (YMHA) to support mental health awareness for families in Stamford
- Continued partnership with Stamford Police Department
“We need Domus in every Connecticut community because they understand the importance of meeting young people where they are at, giving them the tools they need to succeed, and putting them on the right track to actualize their goals. Together, Domus and Stamford Police help young people build skills and relationships while we keep them safe. Domus has been instrumental in helping young people in the Greater Stamford community, proving that this model, rooted in love, can help change the world around us.”
