Domus’ March Madness Night!

Thanks to everyone who joined the fun Thursday, March 16th from 6:30 to 8:30p to kick-off the NCAA March Madness! We relaxed at Darien Social, enjoyed the open bar/apps, watched the game with friends and guests briefly heard how Domus helps the most vulnerable kids in our community.

Like shopping? How about shopping for a cause!  Juliska Flagship Store in Stamford hosted a Sip & Shop event on Saturday, December 10, 2016 in support of our youth. Customers could pick up beautiful items for their home or for someone else– they received 10% off their purchase and 10% of the day’s proceeds went to Domus!

Audra McDonaldAn Evening with Audra McDonald: April 6, 2013

Five-time Tony Award winner and TV actress Audra McDonald, who is a champion for equality, has sung with the New York Philharmonic and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

Friends of Domus attended a wonderful performance by Audra McDonald at the Palace Theater in Stamford, CT and were treated to an intimate meet-the-star champagne and dessert reception after the performance.

The Sting: A Spelling Bee for Grownups – March 21, 2013

U Conn Winners 2013Our 4th Annual Adult Spelling Bee was fantastic! Many, many tough words were spelled correctly, like aureolesee more words and photos from the event here. UConn won *again* after a nailbiting final round with Ernst & Young. We’re so grateful to our talented volunteers, our many fun and smart teams, and our presenting sponsor, Pitney Bowes. Thank you all for braving the glare of the spotlight and possible embarrassment to help raise money for literacy and highlight the fact that, despite the good fortune many of us have, others right here in our backyard cannot read.
