Thank you to all the participants and volunteers for making our first annual Domus NINER a wonderful event!
Participants, competing individually or in co-ed teams of 4, completed a challenging course including:
- 499 yard Swim in Long Island Sound
- 49 Burpees
- 99 Push-Ups
- 199 Squats
- 299 seconds of Plank
- 0.99 mile Run
Everyone had a blast (check out the photo album), and the event helped raise money and awareness for our education, community, and residential programs. We hope you’ll join us for our next NINER on September 29, 2013. Registration details will be posted shortly.

A SPECIAL THANKS TO OUR SPONSORS!
A fun, yet challenging, athletic competition for novices and fitness gurus alike. Participants complete the event individually or in co-ed teams of 4. All participants must be 18 years of age or older. Proceeds from the event benefit the youth of Domus Kids, Inc.
The race course includes:
499 yard Swim in Long Island Sound
299 seconds of Plank
0.99 mile Run
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes are awarded in four divisions: Men, Women, Relay Team, and Elite Team.
Each person independently completes all activities. Participants may also choose to register to participate in the Elite Team Challenge.
Elite Team Challenge
For the Elite Team Challenge, each member of the team registers independently for the event, and each team member completes all aspects of the NINER independently and in order. When all members of the team have completed the course, final times will be added for a team total. Teams must include at least one female and one male per team. Participants are eligible to win prizes in the individual competition as well as in the Elite Team Challenge.
Relay Team Challenge
In the Relay Team Challenge, the first leg must be completed by one person and the last leg must be completed by one person. For the remaining activities, teams may share the responsibility of competing each task. Similar to a traditional relay, only one person on each team may be completing an activity at any one time. Teams must include at least one female and one male per team.
