Domus Diner Day 2016
Wednesday, December 7
We are looking forward to another year of great service, great friends, and great food–all thanks to the generosity of Lushe at Parkway Diner, GE Tax Team, GE EFS Team, and Synchrony Financial! Your generous tips directly benefit our youth! Click HERE to donate.
Domus Diner Day 2015, presented by GE!
December 1, 2015
We had another great day with our GE friends raising money for the youth of Domus. Many, many thanks to Marianne, Rick, Robert, and everyone at GE who gave up part or all of their workday to be at the diner slinging coffee, dishing donuts, or clearing tables. Also big thanks to Lushe and her Parkway Diner team for hosting us for the 16th year!
Domus Diner Day 2013 was fantastic, as usual! Every December, our friends at GE Tax take over Lushe’s Parkway Diner on High Ridge Road in Stamford: They wait and bus tables and solicit big tips, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars (!) to benefit the kids at Domus. We are indebted to them for taking the day off work at such a busy time of year to face the hungry throngs who adore Lushe’s food. Thanks to Lushe, Rick, Marianne, Lori, Nancy, and ALL our very good GE Tax Team friends for 14 wonderful years!
Diner Day 2012: Another *amazing* Diner Day! This year, the talented and hard-working GE Tax Team raised over $310,000 for the kids at Domus! Flip through the day’s pictures to see this year’s mug (a lovely green—collect a new one every year!), happy faces, and a bunch of great people pulling off a tremendous fundraiser!
Diner Day 2011 was, as usual, impeccably organized and a huge success. The diner was full of smiles from our talented GE Tax Team friends—patrons were as happy to get their custom GE/Domus/Parkway Diner travel mugs (a tradition we all look forward to) as they were the delectable treats the kitchen turned out. We are very, very grateful to the Tax Team, the members of whom take a day away from their normal work to wait and bus tables and keep customer mugs full of coffee.
Rick D’Avino: We can’t thank you enough for keeping the kids of Domus foremost in your mind and heart and pushing everyone else to do so too.
Marianne Keegan: We now take for granted your amazing organizational skills and ability to get a million mission-critical things done despite flying around the world.
